For the last crate of 2015, Loot Crate have taken to the stars to celebrate all things “Galaxy”. Whether it be a long time ago, far, far away or something a little closer to home, it’s all about what lies beyond the skies of Earth.
Loot Crate Box, Badge and Magazine (Loot Crate Labs)
This month’s Crate design pays tribute to one of the biggest gaming franchises – Halo – with it’s special design. Replicating the cryo tubes on-board UNSC ships, the crate can be flipped inside out so Looters can store their items inside the tube or the traditional black crate. This month’s badge is a special gold coloured pin to mark the end of the year.
Inside the magazine, there are interviews with Halo Producer Chris Lee and Drew Wise – designer of the t-shirt (on the next page) – along with a look back at this year’s Crate selection. There’s also a Looter’s Gallery and a look at Loot Crate‘s new Pet and Anime based crates. Rounding off the magazine is a look inside this month’s Mega Crate – which includes a “Rule The Living Room” package from NVIDIA, a year’s subscription to both GeForce Now and Netflix, a Luke Skywalker Red Five figurine, a large tech dopp kit from This Is Ground and, last but not least, a Tandem Skydiving experience with Jeff Provenzano.
Haven’t watched galaxy quest in far too long. Will have to amend that soon. “Never give up, never surrender!”
“Oh shut up!”
